Mellow Yellow, April-May, 2005
This wall was a patchwork of four different colors before we finally found a yellow we liked. It's very difficult to find a good yellow, and most of them misbehave when applied to exterior stucco.

Stucco by starlight. Working after dark is one way to beat the heat. There was a lot more patching than we anticipated, and we are learning the terms of adherement for exposed brick and mud adobe (lots of trowel and error).

First wall done in the sun, and Shmudla gives a big "two paws up" on the choice of color (btw that's a pretty good jump for a 13-year-old cat). Other critters are also attracted to the new color. This bee spent a good 15 minutes trying to find the honey!

Mother's Day -- two walls done, two to go.
