Well Ed it certainly sounds like we have a lot in common! Dennis usually hangs out on two-meter sideband, but we'll tune around and see if we can find you!
It's so nice to see someone living and recreating on parallel paths as you. Today, we just got back from Wasson Pk from Camino del Cerro. Checking the elevation on the internet led me to your site.
We've hiked/camped in plenty of the places you've been. I'm also an avid mountain biker, skier, backpacker, international traveler, radio operator (W5EEC), motorcyclist, off-roader, MEANDERER, and such.
You CERTAINLY get out and enjoy your world. Excellent website and photos and adventures. Maybe, we can hook up on 20 Meters sometime.

Thank you, Scott! I've seen your postings on Tucson Hikers and look forward to meeting you on the trail one of the these days.
Marion
I really enjoy your trip reports and photos. I get them through the Tucson Hikers yahoo group. Please keep 'em comin'. I just read your 'West Fear Creek' report tonight (9-3-07) and found myself wishing I was there on the red rocks along Clear Creek. What a beautiful place. Thanks for showing it to me. Scott C.

Hey Jason, good to hear from you. I would agree that Vista looks like lots of hype and not much action. It rather seems like XP with a new user interface that's tuned much more for novices. It took hours to remove the crapware that Gateway installed. We're going to try it for a while and see if it really becomes impossible to stand.
Dennis
Just wanted to say hello, how do you like your new laptop? Mine is working, I have found I very much dislike Vista. In a matter of time I think I will be dual booting Ubuntu Linx and XP Pro. Have a great day Jason

Your website reflects an insight into your soul that may have been partnered with God: your soulful life in harmoney with beauty of the desert and nature. I recently bought a house in Green Valley, AZ, which may provide me a glimpse of the path of your journey. Thanks for the inspiration. Suzanne

Thanks for asking! Theoretically the deadline for compliance was Saturday, but we haven't seen much activity over there. At least the constant loud hip hop music has finally stopped, and I'm sure this is because of the KGUN-9 story. See you Thursday! MM
Hey Marion: Any update on the Who's trashing Tucson report? What's the status on those un-neighborly neighbors? -- Susan.
PS -- we miss you at Mzekala. Are you coming this week?

Hi Jim! Try www.desertlavender.com/hams/uncured_hams.php. And watch for new pages on radio activity in the Chiricahuas and at the 2007 Ham Fest! MM
Hey Marion: Den said I should look for the "Uncured Hams" section.... Can't find it. Otherwise It's a cool site and I'm jealous. 73 DE WW7J

Hi Natasha! Dang, I wish Arizona wasn't so far from Europe! While we wait for continental drift to close the gap, let's keep that VOIP line cooking!
Hi Marion: Hi Marion, your Web brought back (again) a lot of memories from (distant?) past....... :) I lost your e-mail,drop me a line please. And thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures!

Many thanks! See you in Sabino Canyon (the crowds have thinned out a lot now that the tram only runs to Stop 4).
Your site is very appealing; I like your writing style. It looks like you/yours have fun along with a changing view of the world. I've lived in Tucson for 27 yrs. and hiked more than a few trails; Finger Rock/Kimbel, Mt. Wrightston, Mt. Hopkins (it's a road), Romero Pass, etc. within the past year but have avoided Sabino Canyon trails. Your story and pictures of Hutch's pool hike make me want to make it my next hike. If I can just find some way to avoid the crowds in Dec/Jan. Very nice site!! Thanks.

Thanks! You are lucky to have Big Bend in your backyard. Another wonderful desert place!
O my - your photos, hikes, trips and tales are wonderful. We hike northern AZ and SE Utah - but its not as easy for us, as we have to come all the way from Texas. I'm envious!

I love your site! As an AZ native I've been to many of the places you've featured on here and look forward to visiting the rest. And, I must say, as an avid naturist, it was refreshing to see West Clear Creek enjoyed as my friends and I do- kudos! Best wishes on future travels...

Sure thing! We hiked into Sabino Canyon the morning of Sunday, July 30. We spotted* Mr. Bob Cat around 1:00 pm on our way back to the Visitor Center. He was no more than 50 feet from the trail. *Actually we didn't spot him, he was born that way! MM
I was also at Sabino Canyon on dates mentioned during the initial flooding. Can you tell me the date you sighted and photographed the Bob Cat?
Thanks for the great photos.

I came to your website looking for photos of Cabeza Prieta, since I'm reading Devil's Highway. I was pleasantly surprised that you have lots of other great photos of Southern Arizona, including photos of flooding in Sabino Canyon from this very week. Great website!

Quelle belle surprise Marion !

Larry, thanks for posting and for helping us identify the critters! (Gentlemen, take note: Larry was able to answer the test question and post a comment without any assistance from me! So this isn't a "guy" thing. Come on, work with me! The rain in Spain ... Eliza Doolittle ... Professor Higgins ... doesn't any of this sound a teensy bit familiar?) MM
Hey there desert lady! Loved Goldilocks and the three bares! Aravaipa Canyon remains one of the most beautiful places on earth - hope to get back there one day. As always, Cactus Hair

Jerry, there is a perfectly good and quite scenic gravel road from Sasabe via Saric to Caborca. I usually see a pair of Crested Caracaras along that road, which is always a thrill. Do stop at all of the Kino missions all along this beautiful, well-watered valley. Happy trails!
MM
Driving from sasabe to caborca do you usually go to Saric or do you take the dirt road to Altar? Nice site!

Hey, just wanted to say I love your site. You really tell a story with your words and pictures. Your site simply shouts your love of Arizona. I also agree with your sentiments as presented in the West Clear Creek link. Keep up the good work.
