When I visited Bulgaria in 2000, I took so many photos of cats that I ended up creating a Cats of Bulgaria web page. Ten years later, the only difference is that I was shooting video instead of stills!

French writer and film director Jean Cocteau said it best:

"I love cats because I love my home, and after, they become its visible soul."

So, once again, I spent hours filming, photographing and flirting with cats all over Bulgaria. They repaid me by letting themselves into my room night after night, and slinking away without a word in the wee hours of the morning.
